Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move pallets and other materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and trailers accurately.
- Transport materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance checks on forklifts.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Ensure all products are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Accurately record inventory movements and updates.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Follow all company safety protocols and procedures related to warehouse operations and logistics.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet operational targets.
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Valid forklift certification is mandatory.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform significant physical lifting, up to 60 pounds.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to work with precision.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
