We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator to join our busy warehouse operations in Orlando, Florida. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and trailers.
- Transport raw materials, full goods, and empty containers to and from production and storage areas.
- Verify received goods against purchase orders and ensure proper documentation.
- Stack and arrange materials in designated locations, ensuring stability and accessibility.
- Conduct daily inspections of the forklift and report any issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals related to logistics and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a forklift operator.
- Valid forklift certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform tasks involving physical lifting of up to 60 pounds.
- Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to concentrate.
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
