Job Summary:
Seeking a detail-oriented Order Picker for our Durham, North Carolina warehouse. As an Order Picker, you will play a critical role in our logistics process by accurately retrieving items for customer orders. Your day-to-day activities will include navigating the warehouse, identifying products using scanning technology or pick lists, and preparing them for the packing and shipping stages. Accuracy and efficiency are key to ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the smooth flow of goods. You will work collaboratively with other warehouse associates to meet daily order fulfillment goals. A strong commitment to safety, including the consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and safe practices for lifting and moving items, is paramount. This role requires stamina and a focus on detail.
Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick products based on order specifications using RF scanners or pick sheets.
  • Organize picked items for efficient packing and shipping.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate efficient picking.
  • Perform quality checks on picked items.
  • Adhere strictly to all warehouse safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Participate in inventory counts and stock checks.
  • Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
  • Regularly engage in lifting and moving of merchandise up to 45 lbs.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Physical ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic logistics.
  • Must be willing to use required PPE.
  • Proven ability to handle lifting tasks safely.
