Our state-of-the-art distribution center in Huntsville, Alabama, is looking for energetic and detail-oriented individuals to fill the role of Distribution Center Associate. This position is fundamental to our operations, ensuring that products are handled efficiently from receipt to dispatch. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse management, contributing directly to our company's success. We prioritize a safe and productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision and speed.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, as needed.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and help maintain system accuracy.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and procedures, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe for all personnel.
- Be prepared for frequent lifting of items up to 60 pounds.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in a distribution or warehouse setting is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of logistics principles is beneficial.
- Willingness to wear required PPE and follow all safety regulations.
- Physical ability to perform tasks involving standing, walking, and heavy lifting throughout the shift.
