Are you a motivated individual seeking a dynamic role in Charlotte, North Carolina? Our logistics operation is looking for a dedicated Order Picker to join our team. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This critical role ensures that our customers receive the correct products in a timely manner, directly impacting our logistics efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will utilize scanning equipment and follow pick lists generated by our warehouse management system. The ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment is essential. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting, bending, reaching, and walking throughout the warehouse. A strong commitment to workplace safety is paramount; you will be required to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhere to all safety guidelines. Experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a plus, but we welcome candidates with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn. Responsibilities include:
- Picking items for customer orders accurately using a scanner
- Verifying picked items against order details
- Packing orders securely and efficiently
- Replenishing stock in picking locations
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Adhering to all safety regulations and using PPE
- Participating in inventory checks and cycle counts
- Collaborating with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment
