*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide expert assessment and therapy services to children with speech, language, and communication disorders. This role involves working with pediatric patients in educational or clinical settings, focusing on early intervention and improving communication skills. *Duties*
* Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for pediatric patients, including evaluation of communication abilities and swallowing functions
* Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs, incorporating evidence-based therapy techniques
* Provide direct therapy sessions to improve speech, language, voice, fluency, and social communication skills
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare professionals to support patient progress and ensure consistency of care
* Monitor patient progress through ongoing assessments and adjust therapy strategies accordingly
* Educate families on speech development milestones, home exercises, and strategies to support communication growth
* Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and compliance records in accordance with regulatory standards
*Experience*
* Prior experience working in school settings or pediatrics is highly preferred
* Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques and pediatric development stages
* Familiarity with physiology related to speech production and swallowing functions
* Experience conducting patient assessments using standardized tools and medical terminology
* Knowledge of anatomy relevant to speech-language pathology is advantageous
* Early intervention experience is a plus for supporting developmental delays at the earliest stages
* Effective patient care skills with a compassionate approach toward children and their families
This role requires a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with a passion for pediatric care and early intervention. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail in documentation, and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
Pay: $45.75 - $55.09 per hour
