Job Description And Duties
This position supports the California Department of Public Health's (CDPH) mission and strategic plan by independently performing a wide range of the more complex analytical and technical assignments related to the support of the district office. The Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) is responsible for the coordination, review, and analysis of survey and complaint data required by Federal and State mandates. Gather, sort, analyze and monitor information related to complaints and enforcement activities and prepare monthly summary reports based on the results of the above analysis. Act as liaison to Headquarters and field office personnel.

The incumbent works under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I (SSM I).

In July 2025, the State of California implemented the Personal Leave Program (PLP This program temporarily reduces employees' monthly base pay in exchange for paid leave credits.
