King's Way Wings is seeking a professional, customer-focused Cashier who understands that the front counter sets the tone for the entire guest experience. This role requires strong communication skills, consistency, and accountability, along with a willingness to be cross-trained as a kitchen runner when needed.

This role is best suited for candidates who value consistency, accountability, and long-term reliability. Applicants seeking short-term or on-call work may not be the right fit.

Pay

• $12 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Square POS.

• Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently while ensuring proper cash handling procedures.

• Assist with food preparation, including assembling orders, packaging items, and maintaining cleanliness in the food prep area.
• Serve food and beverages promptly at the counter or to tables, providing excellent customer service throughout the dining experience.
• Manage sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations.
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales and maximize customer satisfaction.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service flow and minimize wait times for guests.

Required Qualifications

• Prior cashier, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
• Willingness to be cross-trained and assist beyond the front counter
• Ability to stay composed and efficient during peak service times
• Food Handler Certification required
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Basic kitchen experience is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
