Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to oversee daily operations within a vibrant food service environment. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in restaurant management, culinary supervision, and team leadership. The Manager will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining operational efficiency, and fostering a positive work environment. Candidates with hospitality management, food safety expertise, and proven supervisory skills are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise staff across various departments including kitchen, dining, and bar areas to ensure smooth operations.
  • Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control to meet established standards.
  • Handle POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
  • Train new staff and provide ongoing development opportunities for team members to enhance performance.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards in accordance with health codes.
  • Coordinate shift management, scheduling staff coverage to meet customer demand during peak hours.
  • Monitor customer service quality and address guest concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Assist in budgeting, cost control, and operational planning to support business growth.
  • Participate in hiring processes including interviewing candidates and selecting qualified personnel.
  • Support special events such as banquets or catering services as needed.

Skills

  • Extensive experience in food industry management, including casual dining, fine dining, or quick service restaurants.
  • Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise.
  • Strong background in food preparation, culinary techniques, and kitchen management.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in staff training, supervision, and team management.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest interactions professionally.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations; experience with food handling and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to manage inventory control effectively while maintaining quality standards.
  • Experience in managing budgets, controlling costs, and optimizing operational efficiency.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to train staff and lead a diverse team.
  • Previous experience in restaurant management roles such as assistant manager or hospitality supervisor preferred; hotel or catering experience is a plus. Pay: $ $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 40.0 per week
