Job Summary:

We seek a motivated and compassionate Medical Assistant with to join our team. The ideal candidate will be bilingual(English and Spanish), flexible with scheduling, and eager to contribute to a positive patient experience. As a Medical Assistant at our clinic, you will assist with clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients, ensuring a friendly and welcoming environment.

• Perform phlebotomy procedures, including drawing blood and preparing specimens for laboratory analysis. If you are not comfortable with blood draws - do not apply.

• Measure and record patients' vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant information.

• Assist the Physician with examinations, treatments, and procedures.

• Administer medications and injections as directed by the Physician.

• Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for patient visits.

• Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, and managing patient records and prior authorizations.

• Provide patient education and support, addressing any questions or concerns.

• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient clinic operations.

• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all healthcare regulations and protocols.

Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.

• Phlebotomy certification or equivalent experience required.

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly desired but not required.

• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to healthcare.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
