Director of Accounting | Remote (EST hours preferred)

I'm working with a long-standing, privately held e-commerce company in the promotional products industry that's seeking a hands-on Director of Accounting to help modernize and lead its accounting function. This is a key leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to bring structure, systems, and strategic insight to a legacy team.

What you'll do:

• Lead daily accounting operations, month-end close, and financial reporting

• Drive improvements in inventory accounting, costing, and ERP utilization (NetSuite)

• Strengthen internal controls and ensure GAAP compliance

• Manage and develop a tenured team across AP, AR, and GL functions

• Collaborate closely with the CFOO to upskill the department and implement best practices

What we're looking for:

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles

• CPA preferred

• Strong NetSuite skills and advanced Excel proficiency

• Background in inventory-heavy sectors (e.g., CPG, manufacturing, promotional goods)

• Someone who enjoys being both strategic and hands-on

Fully remote role (U.S. only), competitive base salary ($130K–$150K) plus strong benefits, and the opportunity to help lead a meaningful transformation.
