Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and forward-thinking Leasing Agent to join our team as a 1099 contractor. This position is commission-based, with earnings tied directly to successful lease signings and move-ins. The ideal candidate will be an Arizona-licensed real estate professional who takes initiative, is results-driven, and excels at marketing rental properties beyond standard online listings. This person will be responsible for leasing properties all throughout the Phoenix metro (East & West Valley).

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively market and lease available units, utilizing both company-provided listings and independent outreach efforts.
• Conduct property showings, follow up with prospective tenants, and guide them through the application and leasing process.
• Ensure compliance with all Fair Housing regulations and the Arizona Department of Real Estate requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads utilizing our CRM system, applications, and lease agreements.
• Build strong relationships with potential renters to maximize occupancy and reduce vacancy periods.
• Work closely with the property management team and property owners to align leasing strategies with overall business goals.
• Utilize social media, networking, MLS and other creative marketing strategies to generate leads and pre-lease units before they become available.

Requirements:

• Active Arizona real estate license.
• Proven experience in leasing, real estate, or property management.
• Strong sales, marketing, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative to drive leasing success.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license for commuting to properties.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and Arizona Department of Real Estate regulations.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to use leasing software (AppFolio) and online listing platforms effectively.
• Ability to navigate through Microsoft products (outlook, teams, excel, word, ect).

Compensation:

This is a 1099 contractor position, compensated through commission on each successfully leased and moved-in unit. Compensation is 80% of total commission billed. (Agent can expect usually between $350 to $800 per move in).
