Bartender

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
• Manage POS transactions using OUR system
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Monitor guest consumption levels responsibly and promote responsible drinking practices.
• Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth bar operations during busy hours.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate service flow during events like banquets or nightclub nights.
• Uphold all food safety regulations related to food handling, serving, and alcohol service.
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
• Assist with catering events or special functions by providing exceptional beverage service tailored to event needs.

Experience

• Previous experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant, nightclub, or banquet setting is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential for smooth transaction processing.
• Proven customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
• Experience with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Knowledge of beverage preparation techniques including brewing, mixing cocktails, and serving alcohol responsibly.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and managing tabs accurately.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
• Experience working in fine dining environments or catering is a plus but not required. Pay: $ $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 24.0 per week
