Job Description

We are seeking an experienced
Senior Python AWS Developer
with deep expertise in designing, developing, and deploying scalable applications and advanced
AI/ML
solutions, with a focus on
Generative AI (Gen AI)
and large language models (LLMs) on the
AWS Cloud
. The ideal candidate will bridge software engineering, data science, and cloud operations (MLOps) in an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop scalable, production-grade applications and microservices using
  Python
  (Flask/Django) and serverless components (
  AWS Lambda
  ).
• Design and implement end-to-end
  MLOps pipelines
  on
  AWS
  for training, deployment, and monitoring of models using
  Amazon SageMaker
  .
• Focus on integrating and fine-tuning
  Generative AI
  models and LLMs to solve complex business problems, utilizing services like
  Amazon Bedrock
  .
• Utilize core
  AWS Data Services
  including
  S3
  ,
  RDS
  ,
  DynamoDB
  , and
  Redshift
  for data storage and retrieval.
• Manage model lifecycle, version control, and infrastructure automation using
  Terraform/CloudFormation
  and
  CI/CD
  tools.
• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists and Product Managers to transition experimental models into highly reliable production systems.
• Ensure adherence to governance, security standards, and code quality practices.

Required Technical Skills

• 12+ years
  overall IT experience with a strong Python development track record.
• Advanced knowledge of:
• Python
  (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch) and software engineering best practices.
• AWS AI/ML Ecosystem:
  SageMaker
  (Studio, Pipelines, Endpoints),
  Amazon Bedrock
  , and
  LLM
  integration.
• AWS Core Services:
  Lambda
  ,
  S3
  ,
  EC2
  ,
  DynamoDB
  , and API Gateway.
• MLOps
  practices, model serving, and monitoring.
• Experience with:
• Agile/Scrum
  methodology.
• CI/CD
  (Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline) and
  Git/GitHub
  .
• Containerization (
  Docker
  ) and orchestration (
  Kubernetes/EKS
  ).
• Database interaction (
  SQL/NoSQL
  ) and large-scale data processing.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty or AWS Certified Developer.
• Experience with large-scale data engineering tools (e.g., PySpark/EMR).
• Hands-on experience with prompt engineering and fine-tuning proprietary models.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
