Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a qualified and innovative Engineer Systems Modeling Simulation/Principal Engineer Systems Modeling Simulation (Modeling & Tools Development) to join the innovative Model Based Test & Evaluation (MBTE) team where we are advancing cutting-edge technology. This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida.

Note:  This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. Due to the classified nature of the work being performed, this position does not offer any virtual or telecommute working options. This role can be filled at either level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a team to develop processes and techniques using software engineering best practices and standards.

  • Support across multiple groups, including Program Management, external suppliers, and government customers.

  • Support multiple processes and apply technical expertise to solve complex problems.

Basic Qualifications for Systems Engineer:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 2 years of relevant experience; OR Master of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 0 years of relevant experience.
