We are seeking a proactive, highly organized Store Manager to lead daily warehouse and storefront operations for our online and storefront boutique. This role requires a hands-on leader who anticipates operational needs, maintains tight control over inventory and order flow, and actively manages and motivates a small team. The ideal candidate takes full ownership of outcomes, communicates clearly, and ensures operational excellence across fulfillment, customer service, and workspace standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day online and storefront operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Anticipate operational needs and proactively address challenges before they escalate.
- Delegate tasks effectively, monitor progress, and hold team members accountable.
- Communicate clearly with leadership regarding priorities, obstacles, and resource needs.
- Take ownership of outcomes, not just assigned tasks.
Inventory Control & Accuracy
- Maintain accurate inventory tracking across all inventory categories (warehouse stock, storefront stock, transfers, quality tiers).
- Manage ordering and transfers with precision, particularly for non-returnable items.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to prevent over-ordering, shortages, or misallocation.
- Follow and enforce strict inventory separation and handling procedures.
- Photograph inventory for website and social media usage.
Order Processing & Fulfillment
- Ensure real-time accuracy and visibility in Shopify or equivalent systems.
- Follow established procedures for printing, managing, and filing packing slips.
- Oversee order flow to ensure no orders are lost, delayed, or left unaccounted for.
- Implement and maintain a clear process for identifying, tracking, and resolving problem orders promptly.
Customer Service Oversight
- Monitor customer service queues daily to ensure SLAs are consistently met, including, but not limited to: email boxes, Shopify inbox, Etsy messages, TikTok Shop messages, Meta (facebook and instagram) comments messages and TikTok comments and messages.
- Ensure timely responses, follow-ups, and resolution of customer inquiries and issues.
- Coordinate with fulfillment and leadership to resolve escalated customer concerns efficiently.
Cleanliness, Safety & Workspace Standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional warehouse and storefront at all times.
- Enforce daily end-of-shift reset standards, including:
- Clear walkways and work areas
- Boxes off the floor where possible
- Trash removed regularly
- Robot/equipment ready for next-day operations
- Storefront replenished, organized, and customer-ready
- Ensure compliance with safety, accessibility, and cleanliness expectations.
Employee Training & Supervision
- Train new and existing staff on processes, expectations, and quality standards.
- Assign clear daily tasks and priorities to all team members.
- Actively supervise staff to minimize idle time, phone use, and unproductive behavior.
- Set and enforce standards for professionalism, productivity, and teamwork.
Administrative & Supply Management
- Maintain par levels for all operational supplies (labels, paper, packing materials, etc.).
- Reorder supplies proactively to avoid operational disruptions.
- Complete administrative tasks accurately and on time without repeated follow-ups.
- Use checklists or systems to track recurring responsibilities and deadlines.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse, operations, or fulfillment management experience (boutique, e-commerce, or retail preferred).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proven ability to lead, supervise, and motivate a small team.
- High attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Experience with inventory systems and order management platforms (Shopify, Etsy, Meta and TikTok Shop preferred).
- Clear communicator who is comfortable escalating issues early and constructively.
- Ability to balance hands-on work with leadership responsibilities.
- Light photography/video skills are needed.
- Graphic design experience (for example: Canva) is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
