Program Management
· Review, manage, and evaluate all educational programs to ensure quality, effectiveness, and alignment with organizational goals.
· Oversee programs including pre-medical programs, high school enrichment programs, medical student programs, physician resident programs, clinical skills simulation programs, community outreach initiatives, and mentoring programs.
Coordination and Team Management
· Provide coordination, leadership, and operational support for all DOF activities and teams.
· Collaborate with and support the Needs Assessment Team, Mentoring Team, Coaching and Counseling Team, and MCAT Tutors.
Student Engagement, Monitoring, and Support
· Actively connect with, monitor, guide, and follow up with student mentees to ensure progress toward academic and professional goals.
· Conduct regular check-ins with mentees, mentors, and coaches to assess progress and address challenges.
· Provide individualized guidance, resources, and support to help students remain on track.
· Ensure timely follow-up with students to address concerns and promote sustained success.
Data Collection, Reporting, and Evaluation
· Organize, collect, and maintain comprehensive records of all ongoing DOF activities.
· Track needs assessments, process measures, and outcome measures using appropriate data management tools.
· Ensure accurate documentation and reporting for program evaluation and improvement.
Program Promotion and Outreach
· Promote DOF initiatives across social media, educational institutions, and community spaces.
Unhoused Support Programs
· Support programs assisting unhoused individuals by facilitating access to essential resources and services.
Community Health Screening Programs
· Support health screening programs for under-resourced populations and connect participants to services.
Foster Family Support
· Support foster families through quarterly engagement initiatives and consistent communication.
Educational Programs and Workshops
· Plan and organize recurring educational and enrichment workshops.
· Coordinate clinical skills simulation activities.
· Organize collaborative workshops with schools, colleges, professional organizations, and guest speakers.
Position Requirements
· Ability to manage and oversee multiple educational, mentoring, and community-based programs simultaneously.
· Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
· Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, mentors, and external partners.
· Commitment to student success, equity, and community engagement, particularly with under-resourced populations.
· Ability to collect, manage, analyze, and report program data using spreadsheets and data management tools.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting, outreach, and relationship-building.
· Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability to leadership and program goals.
· Flexibility to attend occasional evening or weekend programs, workshops, or community events.
Position Expectations
· Ensure high-quality implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of all educational and mentoring programs.
· Maintain consistent and proactive communication with students, mentors, coaches, tutors, and program partners.
· Identify and address program gaps, student challenges, and operational barriers in a timely manner.
· Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of program activities, assessments, outcomes, and participant progress.
· Actively promote programs and initiatives through outreach, partnerships, and social media platforms.
· Uphold organizational values related to professionalism, confidentiality, inclusivity, and ethical conduct.
· Support community-facing initiatives including unhoused support programs, health screenings, and foster family engagement.
· Participate in continuous quality improvement efforts by using data to inform program enhancements.
Minimum Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Education, Public Health, Social Sciences, Healthcare Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
· Minimum of
3–5 years of experience
in program coordination, program management, education, nonprofit, or community-based work.
· Experience working with students, mentors, or trainees in academic or professional development settings.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace, including spreadsheets and data tracking tools.
· Demonstrated experience supporting diverse, under-resourced, or first-generation student populations.
Preferred Qualifications
· Master's degree in Education, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Social Work, or a related field.
· Experience in medical education, pre-health advising, workforce pipeline programs, or health equity initiatives.
· Familiarity with mentoring, coaching, and academic enrichment models.
· Experience with program evaluation, outcomes tracking, and reporting for grants or stakeholders.
· Experience coordinating volunteers, tutors, or multidisciplinary teams.
· Knowledge of community-based health programs, foster care systems, or unhoused support services.
