Purchasing manager for electrical contractor

Overview
This is an opportunity to join a midsize electrical contracting firm that works with residential commercial service and Marine Electric candidate should be able to coordinate with project managers to assure that all materials are on site and ready to be loaded on the vehicles by the cruise before they head out in the morning the goal is to eliminate any other employee trips to the supply house someone who is experienced in the specifics of Electrical Contracting is required most likely this person will have worked in the field for a period of years and is looking to change jobs while staying in this field

Duties required

• Review and cement purchase orders generated by estimator project managers
• ​​ Receive supplemental orders from lead electricians for availability for shop pick up utilizing telephone Communications and also a material handling app
• Checkin materials delivered and label for accurate disbursement to field employees
• ​​ purchase and disperse consumable items such as Fasteners adhesives Etc
• ​​ track and schedule Fleet Maintenance approximately 15 vehicles

• ​​ track tool inventory and manage replacement of company supplied tools

• Source reliable suppliers, negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure the best value while maintaining quality standards.

• Oversee supplier management activities, including evaluating vendor performance and fostering strong vendor relationships.​​with inventory management techniques, including inventory control and logistics coordination.

• Ability to analyze pricing data, manage contracts effectively, and oversee procurement activities across multiple projects.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders effectively.
