Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Manager / Senior HR Officer to join our organization. This role is integral to developing and executing strategic human resources initiatives, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, comprehensive HR knowledge, and the ability to drive organizational success through effective talent management and process improvement. Responsibilities
- Lead talent acquisition efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees using HRIS systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM.
- Oversee employee orientation programs and manage ongoing training & development initiatives to foster professional growth.
- Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, workers' compensation, and retirement plans, ensuring compliance with applicable laws such as OSHA and FMLA.
- Manage performance management processes, employee evaluations, and succession planning to support organizational growth.
- Supervise HR sourcing activities and coordinate with management on organization design and workforce planning strategies.
- Handle employee relations issues, conflict management, and disciplinary actions with tact and professionalism.
- Ensure compliance with employment & labor law regulations and manage contracts related to employment terms.
- Oversee payroll processing using systems such as ADP, Paychex, or Paylocity while maintaining accuracy in data collection and analysis.
- Facilitate change management initiatives and process improvements to optimize HR operations.
- Support senior leadership in strategic planning, HR program management, and HR data analysis for informed decision-making.
- Manage HRIS platforms like UltiPro or Dayforce for efficient human capital management and reporting purposes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in supervising HR teams with a strong background in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration.
- Extensive knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, Workers' Compensation policies, and FMLA compliance.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, ADP, Ceridian, or similar platforms.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, change management, process improvement, and program management within human resources functions.
- Ability to analyze data effectively for workforce planning and decision-making purposes; familiarity with data collection tools like Kronos or UltiPro is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field; advanced certifications such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR are a plus. Pay: $20, $40,000.00 per month
