Company Overview

We are a rapidly growing portfolio of companies specializing in hydraulic and water truck parts, managing multiple national and international brands that serve diverse industries. Our focus is on providing high-quality, innovative solutions that keep businesses moving. As we continue to scale, we need a Creative Director who can support and optimize all creative operations—from content production to brand strategy—while ensuring seamless execution across marketing channels.

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Videographer and Content Creator to produce consistent short-form and occasional long-form video content for three brands: Access Truck Parts, Summit Hydraulics, and PowerX International. This role owns the full video lifecycle—planning, scripting, filming, voicing, editing, and delivery—to support paid advertising, social media, email marketing, sales enablement, product education, and brand storytelling.

The ideal candidate is creative, efficient, and comfortable working in warehouse, shop, field, and industrial environments. They are highly proficient in short-form video, capable of directing non-actors on camera, and able to produce polished, performance-driven content. This role is part of the Marketing Team and works closely with Sales.

Travel Requirements: This position requires domestic and international travel for trade shows, company events, content creation, and other business-related activities. Travel destinations may include, but are not limited to, Texas, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Canada, Mexico, and additional locations as needed.

Core Output Requirements:

This role is responsible for producing 6 to 9 short-form videos per week across three brands.

Content must include a variety of formats such as product demos, installation/how-to tips, educational content, social proof, field footage, voiceover explainers, and brand credibility storytelling — optimized for Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, website, and paid ads.

This role also requires strong pre-production planning and content strategy, including:

· Preparing shoot plans, scripts, and concepts in advance to maximize efficiency.

· Developing differentiated strategies for PPC ad content vs. organic social content.

· Pre-determining and presenting hooks, concepts, A/B test variations, and creative angles for approval prior to filming.

· Aligning creative direction and ad testing strategy with the Marketing Manager and Paid Media Manager before production begins.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Content Production

· Plan, script, storyboard, film, voice, and edit 6–9 short form videos per week across three brands.

· Capture high-quality product demonstrations, how-to installs, educational content, interviews, and brand storytelling.

· Record and integrate voiceovers (self-recorded or directing others) to enhance clarity and education.

· Direct team members, customers, or partners on camera and make non-actors feel confident and natural.

· Edit videos in multiple formats including vertical, square, and landscape.

· Add retention-boosting elements such as hooks, captions, text overlays, music, light sound design, and simple motion graphics.

· Produce A/B test variations for paid ads (hooks, intros, CTAs, lengths, captions).

· Maintain consistent visual standards, sound quality, and brand voice across all content.

Field Production and Travel

· Travel for on-site shoots (quarterly) across the US and internationally, including Wisconsin, Texas, California, Mexico, and Canada.

· Film products in real-world use, customer sites, reseller or dealer visits, trade shows, and partner facilities.

· Capture field B-roll, interviews, equipment operation, customer commentary, and environmental footage.

· Plan travel filming schedules to maximize content volume and efficiency per trip.

· Handle cameras, lenses, audio, lighting, and supporting gear during travel.

· Represent the brands professionally in customer and partner environments.

Marketing + Sales Collaboration

· Work closely with the Marketing Team to align video content with campaigns, launches, and growth priorities.

· Partner with the Sales Team to capture real-world product scenarios, FAQs, customer challenges, and value-driven content themes.

· Attend weekly marketing meetings to review performance, plan content, and present new ideas.

· Coordinate with the Sales Team when capturing field content with customers, dealers, and industry partners.

· Participate in monthly content planning to batch concepts, scripts, shoot lists, and quarterly themes.

Brand & Content Development

· Develop recurring video series, creative storytelling formats, and brand-specific content styles for each company.

· Build and manage an organized media library of footage, B-roll, audio, interviews, and reusable assets.

· Produce occasional mid-form content such as case studies, testimonial pieces, sales tool videos, and event recaps.

· Support trade show and event coverage including pre-event promo, onsite capture, and post-show recap videos.

· Maintain consistent brand messaging while adapting tone appropriately for each brand and audience.

Other responsibilities may be assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Demonstrated experience producing short-form video content for social media and/or paid ads (portfolio required).

· Skilled in filming, lighting, audio, and editing (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or Canva).

· Strong voiceover and/or on-camera communication skills.

· Ability to direct non-actors and make people comfortable on camera.

· Understanding of hooks, retention, pacing, and platform best practices for short-form video.

· Ability to self-manage workflow, prioritize, and meet weekly deadlines without micromanagement.

· Comfortable filming in warehouses, workshops, job sites, and outdoor/industrial settings.

· Valid passport and ability to travel domestically and internationally
