Responsibilities

Summary: As the Manager, Innovation Software Development, you will be responsible for helping to define how innovation initiatives will be developed and built, and actively participate in ideating new ideas. You will analyze, design, and develop software enhancements and new modules that support future technology enhancements with pathway to integrate with legacy systems if needed. You will also manage the development of innovation projects from initial design through prototyping, testing and completion

Responsibilities:
Participate in ideation around innovation initiatives, including researching various technology solutions/vendors to identify the best pathway to delivery of products.

Responsible for the coordination of and planning with the company's information technology architecture to identify future compatibility needs.

Consult with internal departments to identify customer needs where applicable and include in project objectives. Provide support regarding product development to internal departments.

Manage innovation project from initial design through testing while providing strategic management direction. Provide early insights around modifications that would be required within existing applications, systems architecture, network systems, and applications infrastructure. Review system requirements and business processes; code, test, debug, and implement software solutions.

Prioritize, plan, and track project progress.

Involved in direct planning of long and short term infrastructure improvement projects, including design, budgeting, and implementation.

Manage team of developers, 3 rd party vendors/schools, and interns to achieve diverse objectives in replicable, scalable ways.

May include other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Education, Licensure and Professional Certification requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.

Minimum Experience required:
5+ years of software development experience required, including 1+ year supervisory experience

Required Skills:
Passion for researching, testing, and building leading edge technology solutions

Strong communication and presentation skills

Ability to quickly react to changes in priorities or solution designs

Other/State Specific

This role pays between $124k to $ 154k , and your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, responsibilities, experience, and location.
