Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage service. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with guests, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly valued. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a memorable experience.
• Manage multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining quality and speed of service during busy hours.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during events such as banquets or catering functions.
• Uphold all food safety standards related to food handling and beverage preparation.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and calculating bills or tips accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience with serving alcohol responsibly and understanding legal requirements for alcohol service.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
