Commercial Construction Superintendent

Daniel & Company, Inc. a commercial general contractor based in Richmond, Virginia, seeks an experienced Project Superintendent. Daniel's Projects are generally within an hour or 1-1/2 hours of Richmond, such as in Fredericksburg, Charlottesville and Williamsburg.

The Superintendent is stationed on the project site and manages the construction activities, schedules and coordinates the work among subcontractors and material suppliers, enforces safety and works closely with the Project Architect and Owner's representatives.

Duties of the Superintendent, generally, also include:

• Preparing preliminary and baseline schedules, typically in CPM format, and updating the schedules as required.
• Maintaining a clean and safe project site at all times.
• Forecast work and arrange for material deliveries and subcontractor start-ups adequately in advance of the forecasted activities.
• Manage and organize work activities and subcontractor coordination.

Salary will be commensurate with applicable experience and skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60, $90,000.00 per year
