Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Transaction Coordinator to join our team in managing the end-to-end process of private lending transactions in the residential space. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of underwriting procedures, loan origination, and mortgage servicing.

Working closely with clients, processors, and originators, the Transaction Coordinator will ensure rapid loan pricing, accurate documentation, clear communication with all parties, and on-time delivery of every deadline.

This role demands excellent communication skills and a highly proactive mindset toward loan pricing, file analysis, and deal execution. We're looking for someone who thrives on getting deals done quickly and correctly, enjoys solving problems thoughtfully under tight timelines, and takes ownership of outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of loan transactions from initial pricing through funding/closing
  • Review and verify loan documentation, contracts, escrow instructions, and related paperwork for accuracy and completeness
  • Collaborate with loan officers, underwriters, escrow officers, title companies, and other stakeholders to drive efficient processing
  • Maintain detailed records of transaction progress in our internal operating systems and provide timely updates to clients and team members
  • Support processors by collecting required documents and resolving issues to keep projects on track
  • Proactively beat deadlines for document submission, disclosures, and approvals to ensure smooth, timely closings

Experience & Qualifications

  • Prior experience in mortgage servicing, loan origination, private lending, or related financial services is preferred
  • Experience in loan officer support, banking, or a similar fast-paced environment is a strong plus
  • Solid familiarity with credit analysis, escrow procedures, and basic math skills for precise processing
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume, deadline-driven setting
  • Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) to effectively liaise with clients, internal teams, and external partners

This position is perfect for someone who loves being the lynchpin that gets deals across the finish line. In addition to the standard compensation package, you'll enjoy opportunities for growth into a senior role, along with per-deal transaction completion incentives.
