Overview
CRP Subsea are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Sales Engineer to contribute to our sales effort globally within the Subsea Ancillaries Product Group. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation and an interest in developing commercial skills. Responsibilities
Delivery profitable revenue growth in line with company objectives Work closely with customers to understand their requirements Prepare proposals, costings and tender documents Maintain existing customer relationships and build new ones in line with the product group strategy Identify and support the development of new market opportunities within the subsea and offshore energy sectors Create a strong, long-term pipeline to ensure future success Support with some administrative tasks such as loading new orders and creating quotation records Build and maintain strong, lasting customer relationships Identify and pursue new business opportunities across oil & gas, floating offshore wind, and other subsea sectors Provide market intelligence and competitive insights Support your primary Business Development Manager and assist others as required Collaborate closely with engineering, projects, marketing and operations to deliver excellent customer service Create and deliver high-quality sales presentations, proposals, and other supporting material Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales forecasting and reporting Support Sales Managers and Senior Sales Engineers as needed Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity and market developments Travel domestically and internationally to support sales efforts and build customer relationships Prepare and submit competitive solutions to customer enquiries, ensuring compliance with CRP’s bidding processes Ensure seamless handover of won orders to the Project team for successful execution Challenge the status quo regarding product, service, and commercial offerings Promote the product and services portfolio to customers in offshore oil & gas, renewable energy and other relevant subsea markets What Are We Looking For In Our Sales Engineer
Technical understanding of offshore, subsea, or engineered products Effective verbal and written communication skills Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Ability to identify and resolve internal and external conflicts Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into solutions Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office College education or technical background, ideally in engineering or sciences Demonstrated experience in a customer-facing role Familiarity with offshore energy or subsea sectors Willingness to travel domestically and internationally Commitment to company policies, ethical standards, and compliance requirements Benefits
