We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our growing team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As a Warehouse Associate, you will perform a variety of tasks crucial to the efficient operation of our logistics and distribution center. Responsibilities include receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and preparing orders for shipment, and managing inventory. You will work in a dynamic environment and be an integral part of ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. Safety is our top priority, and we provide comprehensive training on all job functions, including proper lifting techniques and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role offers opportunities for professional development within the logistics sector.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and put away incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to established procedures.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting and handling of goods, and the correct use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve operational goals.
- Ensure all outbound shipments are accurate and correctly documented.
- Assist with general warehouse maintenance and organization.
- Must be capable of performing tasks involving consistent lifting and physical activity.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and efficiently. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is beneficial. Commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE is required.
