We have an exciting opening for a Receiving Clerk at our large-scale distribution center in Chicago, Illinois. This position is fundamental to our inbound logistics process, ensuring that all incoming shipments are accurately received, inspected, and documented. The ideal candidate will possess a sharp eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a dedication to maintaining a safe and efficient receiving dock. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, verifying quantities against packing slips and purchase orders, inspecting goods for damage, accurately entering receiving data into our inventory management system, and staging items for put-away. Proper use of PPE and strict adherence to all safety regulations are mandatory to ensure a secure working environment for our logistics team. This role requires the ability to perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods. Experience with RF scanners and a background in warehouse operations are highly desirable.
