We are seeking a reliable and energetic Warehouse Worker to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be involved in a variety of tasks essential to the smooth operation of our facility, contributing directly to our logistics and distribution efforts. Your responsibilities may include receiving and storing goods, picking and packing orders, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role requires physical stamina, the ability to work efficiently, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. You will be expected to follow all instructions, adhere to company policies, and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required. Teamwork and a positive attitude are highly valued as we strive to meet our daily operational goals. This is a great opportunity to enter the warehouse and logistics field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack products accurately for customer orders.
- Load and unload materials for shipment and delivery.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Meet productivity targets and quality standards.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Report any safety concerns or operational issues to management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Understanding of basic warehouse and logistics concepts.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to PPE guidelines.
