We are seeking motivated Picker/Packers to join our vibrant logistics team in Provo, Utah. In this role, you will be instrumental in accurately retrieving items from our warehouse shelves and carefully preparing them for shipment. Your efficiency and accuracy directly contribute to our ability to meet customer demands and maintain high operational standards. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. We are dedicated to ensuring a safe workplace for all, and appropriate PPE will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations based on order specifications.
- Pack merchandise securely and efficiently, ensuring it is ready for transit.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order slips and inventory records.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to enhance safety and efficiency.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Meet established productivity targets for picking and packing.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Understand and follow all warehouse logistics procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to a supervisor promptly.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
- Must possess the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
- Willingness to follow all safety protocols and utilize provided PPE.
