Join our growing team as a Receiving Clerk in sunny Orlando, Florida! This essential role is at the forefront of our warehouse logistics, responsible for accurately accepting, inspecting, and documenting all incoming goods. You will play a critical part in maintaining the integrity of our inventory and ensuring that all deliveries are processed efficiently. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to following established procedures are vital for success in this position. We maintain a strong focus on workplace safety, requiring strict adherence to all safety guidelines and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from vendors.
- Inspect goods for damage, discrepancies, and quality issues.
- Accurately record received items into the inventory management system.
- Verify packing slips against purchase orders.
- Properly store received goods in designated warehouse locations.
- Communicate any receiving discrepancies or issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in receiving, warehousing, or logistics is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and lifting.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills for data entry.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to follow safety regulations and wear PPE.
