In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all outgoing shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and carrier requirements. Your attention to detail will be key to managing shipping documentation, preparing packages for transit, and coordinating with logistics partners. We are committed to maintaining a safe working environment, and all Shipping Clerks are required to adhere to strict Safety protocols and utilize appropriate PPE. While this role may not involve extensive Lifting, attention to detail and organizational skills are paramount. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments securely and accurately.
- Generate shipping labels and documentation for various carriers.
- Verify that shipment contents match order details before dispatch.
- Coordinate with carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Keep the shipping area clean and organized.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety guidelines and use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or a related logistics role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using computers and shipping software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of shipping Logistics and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and proper use of PPE.
- Good communication skills.
