*Duties*
* Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions with precision and care
* Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop personalized treatment plans that meet individual needs and goals
* Utilize dental imaging technology to diagnose conditions accurately and plan effective treatments
* Execute oral surgeries such as dental extractions and minor surgical procedures following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
* Manage endodontic treatments like root canal therapy to save natural teeth whenever possible
* Collaborate with patients to educate them on oral health practices, preventive care, and treatment options
* Maintain detailed medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality
* Use dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for scheduling, record-keeping, and billing purposes
* Adhere to all infection control standards and sterilization procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
* Stay current with advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and other specialties to provide the highest quality care
*Skills*
* Proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy knowledge essential for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
* Strong experience with dental office software including Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for efficient practice management
* Expertise in pediatric dentistry and working with children to create a comfortable experience in pediatrics-focused cases
* Skilled in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics procedures, and oral surgery techniques
* Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques critical for patient safety
* Ability to assess patients thoroughly using medical imaging tools and clinical examination skills
* Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach that fosters trust and confidence
* Familiarity with HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of all medical records and documentation
* Experience in four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency during procedures while maintaining high standards of care
* Strong understanding of dental fabrication processes for crowns or bridges when necessary
