BPR Consulting Group ) is seeking an experienced and licensed Mechanical Engineer to join our growing company and serve our clients. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available for qualified candidates.

The successful candidate must have experience and success in performing plan review and design evaluation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for a wide range of building projects; reviewing and preparing plans and specifications for compliance with applicable codes and standards; coordinating engineering activities with other disciplines and departments; and preparing clear, comprehensive technical reports. A strong knowledge of MEP design principles and the California Building, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Energy Codes is essential to the success of the selected individual.

Essential Duties:

  • Perform plan review and analysis of mechanical, electrical,

and plumbing systems for compliance with applicable codes, standards,

and regulations.

  • Prepare, review, and stamp engineering plans, specifications, and calculations.
  • Coordinate MEP design and plan review activities with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and agency departments
  • Provide technical guidance and code interpretations to clients, contractors, and staff
  • Prepare clear and concise engineering reports, correspondence, and project documentation.
  • Assist with project management responsibilities, including scheduling, budgets, and client communications.
  • Ensure all work complies with BPR's and clients' policies, procedures, and quality standards.

  • Provide services in an efficient, proactive, and client-focused manner.
