Position: Open-Source Analysis Researcher

Location: Remote

Mode: Part-Time/Full-Time

Job Description:

We are seeking Open-Source Analysis Researchers to support a new and dynamic contract. Candidates will be responsible for leading policy research in a specified area of responsibility. Duties include, but are not limited to:

·Leading open-source collection activities, foreign collection activities, providing foreign language expertise, and ensuring reporting complies with open-source research requirements. The geographic area of responsibility for an open-source collection lead will not overlap with the geographic area of responsibility for other open-source collection leads.

·Developing and implementing open-source collection plans that identify sources of open-source information with potential research value to meet a specific need and determining the techniques and capabilities to employ to most securely execute the collection activities.

·Employing processing and exploitation methodologies to make collected information discoverable via the OSINT TCPED architecture.

·Applying a draft, review, approval, and publication process to ensure compliance with quality standards when creating and disseminating open-source information reports that meet established research needs. The contractor must ensure open-source information reports and related information products conform to open-source information security classification guidance and are coordinated through the Open-Source Information Foreign Disclosure Officer process, where necessary.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

·A Master's Degree in International Relations Studies or a related field and at least two (2) years of work experience; OR, a Bachelor's Degree in a job-related category from a college or university accredited by an institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, plus two (2) years of related professional work experience in lieu of a Master's Degree.

·Proficiency in one or more target languages: English, Russian, Spanish, Arabic, or other required languages. The minimum proficiency standard is as follows:

·Target Language: Must achieve a 3/3/3/3 level in all four modalities (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) as measured by a standardized language test (e.g., ILR scale).

·English Language Proficiency: Applicants must possess strong English skills with a minimum score requirement of Level 3+ for Listening and Level 3+ for Reading.

·For non-native English speakers, English language competency must be validated via TOEFL or other equivalent standardized examination.

·Two (2) years of experience related to open-source collection, with at least a portion of that experience having been obtained in the past year. Advanced language capability and open-source analysis expertise are highly desired.

Desired Experience:

·Certification in Open-Source Information Collection.
