Sr. Staff Software Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Sr Staff Software Engineer - Investment Data Platform to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. As a Sr Staff Software Engineer - Investment Data Platform, you'll design, build, and maintain systems that are critical to how Enterprise Technology customers experience our client's solutions. You'll partner with product and other engineers to solve complex problems, improve performance, and raise the quality bar over time. Location: Remote

Compensation: $174,000 – $273,000 annually.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement a next-generation compute platform
• Address complex scalability challenges
• Ensure high code quality and performance standards
• Develop solutions to support company's growth and global expansion
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical strategies

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• Proficiency in object-oriented languages like Java
• Experience with cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes and containerization
• Knowledge of messaging technologies such as Kafka
• Familiarity with both relational and non-relational databases
• Experience in CI/CD, monitoring and logging systems
