Administrative Support Coordinator - Full Time

As our Administrative Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the team of administrative assistants that serve as the primary point of contact and information source for new and existing clients at SouthLight's Garner Road Outpatient Treatment Center. This position is responsible for managing staff, ensuring efficient workflow and maintaining high-quality client care standards. The Administrative Support Coordinator is also responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the office, relaying important information or policy changes and implementing incentives to enhance everyday operations.

Pay

Starting at $20.00 per hour.

Full-time employees are eligible for medical benefits the first of the month 30 days after hire date. Options for a standard plan and an HSA plan with a $300 initial contribution and up to a $25 per paycheck match. 10 paid holidays and PTO hours which accrue at a rate of 10 hours per month. After 6 months employees are eligible to enroll in our 401(k) plan which has a 4% match. Company paid life insurance, short and long term disability, in house and paid training opportunities, and additional pay for working holidays.

Job Responsibilities of an Administrative Support Coordinator

  • Oversee and manage administrative assistants that provide check in and check out services for clients receiving SouthLight's services.
  • Hire, train, and supervise administrative staff. Provide leadership, guidance and support to ensure staff performance meets expectations
  • Coordinate and oversee the scheduling and coordination of administrative staffing coverage
  • Ensure direct reports promote and maintain an environment that supports the organization's strategy, vision, mission, and values
  • Oversee the implementation and utilization of electronic health record systems and other healthcare technologies. Train administrative staff on system use and ensure proper documentation and data management practices
  • Manage and monitor reports from electronic health record while following up on incomplete or incorrect documentation
  • Familiarity with payor sources, required documentation and entering of information to ensure authorization approvals

Qualifications of an Administrative Support Coordinator

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of HS diploma or GED
  • Minimum one year of experience in front office, customer service or related field. Behavioral health experience a plus

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Professional interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
  • Advanced leadership and team management skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn, strong attention to detail, positive attitude and ability to be flexible and embrace change in a fast-paced environment
  • Organizational skills to prioritize workload and meet deadlines, develop and carry-out project assignments in an efficient and timely manner and to provide accurate and succinct documentation of activities.
  • Ability to interact effectively with persons of widely diverse roles, backgrounds, cultures, and socio-economic classes, those in crises or resistant or negative toward organization
  • Ability to use an electronic medical record system
  • Comfortable with MS Office Suite and windows-based applications
