THE POSITION
Orange Coast College is seeking a full-time, equity-minded, tenure-track faculty member in Aviation Maintenance, commencing with the Fall 2026 semester. The primary teaching assignment involves all areas of career and technical education in Aviation Maintenance, Airframe and Power plant systems, and avionics. This assignment also includes curriculum and program development; participation in department, division, and college committees; participatory governance activities assuming leadership roles both within the department and in the institution as a whole; collaboration across disciplines; the leveraging of student support resources; participation in ongoing professional development; and maintaining and performing required accreditation for the program.
The assignment may be day, evening, weekend, online, hybrid, or off-campus and is subject to change as needed.
