Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and dietary requirements
• Assist with meal planning and menu development to meet nutritional guidelines and customer preferences
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures are followed in compliance with safety standards
• Serve meals efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standard.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including equipment cleaning and inventory management
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and best practices during food preparation and service
• Collaborate with team members to deliver a seamless dining experience for guests or residents

Experience

• Prior experience in dietary services, dietary aide roles, culinary positions or restaurant settings is preferred
• Knowledge of menu planning, food preparation techniques, and food safety protocols is essential
• Skills in food handling, cooking, knife work, meal preparation, and food presentation are highly desirable
• Experience with catering or serving in a hospitality environment will be considered an asset
• Familiarity with the food industry standards for hygiene and safety is required
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards

Job Type: Part-time
