We are seeking an experienced
Electrical Engineer (EE)
to design and integrate
AC/DC power distribution
,
UPS systems
,
switchgear
,
standby generators
,
grounding systems
, and
low/high-voltage electrical infrastructure
for
Power Modules, IT Modules, and Data Centers
.

This role involves full lifecycle ownership—from
pre-sales engineering
through
design, integration, FAT/SAT, and commissioning
—while coordinating closely with mechanical, structural, controls, and architectural teams.

You will generate
single-line diagrams
,
wiring diagrams
,
BMS integration layouts
, and detailed
construction drawing packages
to support manufacturing and on-site implementation.

Essential Job Functions

  • Serve as the
    Lead Electrical Engineer
    on assigned data center and modular power projects.
  • Create designs that meet quality, safety, and budget requirements.
  • Design
    UPS power systems
    ,
    DC power systems
    , and
    AC distribution
    based on customer IT loads.
  • Develop
    switchgear configurations
    ,
    control schemes
    , and
    ground fault protection
    with PLC or relay-based systems.
  • Prepare
    Bills of Material (BOM)
    and modify assemblies as needed.
  • Apply
    Modbus, TCP/IP, RS-485, and Ethernet
    communication protocols for system integration.
  • Deliver
    SD (Schematic Design), DD (Detail Design), and CD (Construction Drawings)
    for electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with contractors, architects, and cross-functional teams to finalize construction documents.
  • Specify electrical equipment such as
    UPS, switchgear, generators, and DC power systems
    .
  • Perform
    generator sizing analyses
    (inductive, capacitive, motor loads, UPS loads, lighting, inertia).
  • Ensure compliance with
    local, state, and federal electrical codes
    .
  • Review and approve electrical equipment submittals.
  • Support installation, integration, and
    electrical quality control
    at fabrication and field sites.
  • Assist with
    FAT/SAT
    , start-up, and system commissioning.
  • Travel to customer or site locations for technical support and system evaluations.
  • Provide
    innovative, customer-focused solutions
    throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in
    Electrical Engineering
    or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum
    4 years of electrical engineering
    experience.
  • Strong knowledge of
    LV/MV switchboards
    ,
    switchgear design
    , installation, and operation.
  • Understanding of
    NEC
    and applicable building/electrical codes.
  • Proficiency in
    AutoCAD and Revit
    (Autodesk Suite).
  • Ability to read/interpret
    electrical construction drawings
    and specifications.
  • Familiarity with
    data center electrical systems
    , modular designs, and new technologies.
  • Strong
    communication
    ,

    project management
    skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to interpret customer requirements and deliver optimized solutions.
