Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and food service management, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading your team, ensuring efficient service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the restaurant during shifts to ensure smooth functioning.
• Train, mentor, and manage staff to foster a positive work environment and enhance team performance.
• Monitor food preparation processes to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
• Manage inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
• Implement company policies and procedures while promoting a culture of teamwork and accountability.
• Prepare shift reports detailing sales, labor costs, and any operational issues that need addressing.

Skills

• Proven experience in hospitality or food service management, preferably in a quick-service fast food restaurant setting.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including food handling and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences.
• Effective communication skills to interact with both staff and customers clearly.
• Ability to manage time efficiently while multitasking in a high-pressure environment.
• Familiarity with coffee preparation is a plus.
