Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Chef / Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee all aspects of kitchen operations. This dynamic role combines creative food preparation with strategic management, ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Duties

  • Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production, presentation, and service in line with company standards.
  • Oversee menu planning, recipe development, and food preparation to maintain high-quality cuisine across all dining formats including fine dining and catering.
  • Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices.
  • Enforce strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards to guarantee a safe environment for both staff and guests.
  • Coordinate banquet and catering operations, ensuring timely delivery of exceptional service for large events.
  • Supervise shift management, including scheduling staff rotations, training new team members, and maintaining smooth daily operations.
  • Oversee dietary department activities when applicable, ensuring special dietary needs are met with precision and care.
  • Maintain a positive team environment through leadership, motivation, and clear communication to foster professional growth.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as hospitality or bartending to enhance overall guest experience.
  • Monitor food costs and implement strategies for cost-effective food production without compromising quality.

Experience

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or as a head chef within a high-volume or fine dining setting.
  • Extensive culinary background with hands-on expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu development.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience leading kitchen teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Familiarity with banquet operations, catering services, and large-scale event coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and inventory management systems.
  • Experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and optimizing resource allocation within the food industry.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $24.00 per hour
