per hour based on experience (non-exempt, overtime eligible)

About the Role

PureCo USA is urgently seeking an
experienced Cup Machine Technician
to support daily operation of our cup-forming production lines. This is a
hands-on, on-the-floor role
working directly with high-speed manufacturing equipment.

This position is ideal for someone who has previously worked with
cup-forming, paper converting, packaging, or similar production machinery
and understands how to keep machines running consistently, safely, and efficiently.

This is
not
an office, engineering, or supervisory role.

You will be actively working on machines throughout your shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust
  cup-forming machines
  during production runs
• Perform
  machine changeovers
  , tooling adjustments, and start-ups
• Monitor machine performance and product quality during operation
• Troubleshoot common mechanical and pneumatic issues (misfeeds, jams, alignment issues, air pressure problems)
• Make real-time adjustments to maintain speed, quality, and efficiency
• Perform routine preventive maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, inspections)
• Coordinate with QA and production staff to resolve quality issues
• Follow lockout/tagout, safety, and sanitation procedures at all times
• Accurately communicate issues during shift handoffs

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Prior experience working on cup-forming machines is required
• Experience with paper converting, packaging, or similar high-speed machinery will be considered
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with pneumatic systems (compressed air, valves, cylinders)
• Comfortable working
  on the production floor around running equipment
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift (up to ~50 lbs)
• Reliable attendance and strong sense of responsibility
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience with automated or semi-automated production lines
• Basic understanding of sensors, controls, or machine safety systems
• Experience working alongside maintenance or automation technicians
