Cashier/Stocker

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Cashier/Stocker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently managing transactions at the cash register and ensuring that products are stocked and displayed properly. Your ability to communicate effectively and engage with customers will contribute to a positive shopping experience.

Duties

• Operate the cash register, processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and product selections.
• Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer engagement and promote sales.
• Stock shelves and maintain product displays to ensure a well-organized shopping environment.
• Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers, utilizing phone etiquette when necessary.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and stockroom.

Requirements

• Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a diverse customer base.
• Familiarity with cash registers and point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to product knowledge and sales techniques.
