About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Developer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic team. This senior-level position focuses on automating testing processes for mobile, web, and API applications, ensuring the highest standards of software quality. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks, writing robust test scripts, and executing comprehensive testing strategies. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for enhancing software quality through automation. The SDET will collaborate closely with development teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines, perform database testing, and contribute to performance and load testing initiatives. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in test automation for mobile and web applications
• Strong expertise in automation frameworks such as Appium, Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in API automation testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate
• Solid knowledge of unit testing frameworks including JUnit, NUnit, TestNG, or Jest
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, or Kotlin
• Extensive experience with database testing and stored procedures
• Experience in integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Bitbucket
• Familiarity with cloud-based mobile testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs
• Hands-on experience with version control systems, particularly Git
• Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for mobile (Android) and web applications utilizing tools such as Appium, Selenium, Playwright, or similar
• Create and execute API test automation scripts using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate
• Implement unit testing strategies employing frameworks such as JUnit, NUnit, TestNG, or Jest
• Collaborate with software engineers to embed automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring continuous integration and delivery
• Perform database testing, including stored procedure validation, to verify data integrity and backend functionality
• Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution and quality improvements
• Conduct performance and load testing to evaluate application scalability and responsiveness
• Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in automation testing to continuously enhance testing processes
• Support the development and refinement of testing standards and procedures within the team
