Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Front Desk Agent to be the welcoming face of our hospitality team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences by managing check-in and check-out procedures, providing accurate information, and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. Duties

  • Greet guests warmly with excellent phone etiquette and a friendly demeanor, establishing a positive first impression.
  • Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, handling guest inquiries, reservations, and requests with clarity and professionalism.
  • Check guests in and out swiftly while verifying reservations, processing payments, and updating guest records accurately.
  • Provide comprehensive guest services including concierge assistance, local recommendations, and resolving any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain detailed records of guest stays, reservations, and special requests; handle night audit procedures to ensure financial accuracy overnight.
  • Collaborate with hotel management to coordinate room assignments, handle guest complaints with tact, and uphold high standards of hospitality.
  • Support guest relations by anticipating needs, offering personalized service, and ensuring a seamless experience throughout their stay.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in hotel management or front desk operations within a resort or hospitality environment.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued.
  • Knowledge of hotel management software systems and multi-line phone systems; previous night audit experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional hospitality management skills combined with a passion for delivering outstanding guest services.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly while maintaining professionalism and courtesy.
  • Familiarity with guest relations strategies and hotel industry standards for service excellence.
  • Prior experience working in a multilingual environment is advantageous; fluency in more than one language is preferred.
