Golf Course Restaurant Event Venue

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to lead the culinary program at our golf resort. This role is ideal for a hospitality-driven culinary leader who understands elevated yet approachable cuisine, excels in high-volume service, and values consistency, presentation, and guest experience. The Executive Chef will play a key role in shaping menus across clubhouse dining, events, tournaments, and private functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire all back-of-house culinary staff, fostering a positive, professional, and accountable kitchen culture
  • Develop and execute seasonal menus for clubhouse dining, banquets, tournaments, and special events
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, presentation, and service timing
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and health department standards
  • Manage food and labor costs, inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships to meet budget goals
  • Collaborate closely with resort leadership on culinary strategy, member events, weddings, and large-scale outings
  • Ensure consistency across all dining outlets while elevating the overall resort dining experience

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a resort, golf club, hotel, or high-volume hospitality setting
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Expertise in banquet and event execution, including tournaments and large group functions
  • Solid understanding of cost controls, menu engineering, and kitchen financials
  • Flexible schedule availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
