We are seeking a Client Education Consultant, reporting to the Sr. Manager of Client Education. The primary responsibility is training users at community financial institutions on Abrigo's Credit & Lending solutions. Training may be conducted virtually, in-person, or a combination of both. This role will be located at our office in Raleigh, NC, Austin, TX, or remote. What You'll Do:
- Deliver one-on-one and group training (virtual and onsite) to financial institutions on Abrigo's credit and lending software solutions, with a focus on train-the-trainer education.
- Guide clients through the effective use of our software to meet their unique business processes and lending strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor and subject-matter expert, demonstrating deep understanding of credit and lending processes.
- Partner with implementation and project management teams to support a smooth and successful client experience.
- Complete all post-training documentation and follow-up to ensure client readiness and satisfaction.
- Provide consultative support throughout the client lifecycle, including product enhancement feedback and strategic insights.
- Develop and continuously improve training materials, knowledge base content, and other educational resources aligned with product updates and client feedback.
- Contribute to internal enablement by training peers and cross-functional teams on product functionality and best practices as needed.
- Continuously improve your product expertise through ongoing learning and active participation in team knowledge sharing.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- 3+ years of experience in SaaS training or management consulting, or 5+ years in credit and lending roles within a financial institution.
- Demonstrated ability to tailor content and delivery style for various audiences, including executives and front-line users.
- Proven ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software platforms, with a track record of translating technical features into practical, user-friendly guidance.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills—in-person, virtually, and in written and visual formats.
- Demonstrated customer-first mindset with a proactive approach to ensuring client satisfaction, resolving issues, and building long-term trust.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to various client environments and processes.
- Comfort working independently while also contributing to team-wide process improvements and initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 50% of the time.
- Strong understanding of commercial lending processes or loan origination systems is a plus.
