Job SummaryThe Summer Site Coordinator oversees the daily operations of a summer program serving up to 300 students. This role is responsible for comprehensive program planning and implementation, including the development of engaging daily activities and enrichment opportunities. The Coordinator provides ongoing training, supervision, and coaching to site staff to ensure high-quality programming and a safe, supportive environment for students.
The position requires consistent and professional communication with all stakeholders, including students, families, site staff, school administration, and department personnel.
The Coordinator is also responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining detailed schedules for on-campus activities, field trips, staff assignments, and employee breaks, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with program requirements.

Requirements / QualificationsEducation: The equivalent to an Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university is required; possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is highly desirable.
Experience: Two (2) years of experience in working with youth and community organizations is required; experience working in a leadership capacity that includes supervision of three or more employees as well as experience in community organizing and development of programs in a culturally and economically diverse community, working with multiple constituencies and community partners in promoting academic achievement are highly desired.
