Golf Course Maintenance Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Golf Course Maintenance Worker to join our team in maintaining the pristine condition of our golf course. This role involves performing various landscape and turf management tasks to ensure an exceptional playing environment for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, horticulture, and maintaining high standards of course presentation. Prior experience with landscaping, gardening, or turf maintenance is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Mow and edge fairways, greens, and rough areas using lawn mowers and hand tools
• Operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, and aerators to maintain course aesthetics
• Assist with irrigation system installation, repair, and daily operation to ensure proper watering schedules
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, trimming, and fertilizing plants and trees
• Maintain bunkers by raking and ensuring proper drainage and sand levels
• Conduct routine inspections of the course to identify and address maintenance needs
• Support overall landscaping efforts to enhance the visual appeal of the golf course
• Use hand tools for various gardening and horticulture tasks as needed
• Follow safety protocols when handling equipment and chemicals

Skills

• Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
• Strong understanding of turf management and landscaping principles
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Good teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward course upkeep
• Attention to detail in maintaining high standards of course quality
• Prior experience in groundskeeping or outdoor maintenance is preferred but not required.
