We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Business Analyst with strong expertise in Commercial Lines and Workers' Compensation products. The ideal candidate will work closely with business users, product owners, developers, and QA teams to gather requirements, document user stories, support configuration, and ensure successful implementation of Guidewire PolicyCenter/BillingCenter/ClaimCenter solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Work as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams for Guidewire implementations/enhancements.

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Commercial Lines and Workers' Compensation products.

Create detailed BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process workflows.

Support configuration and integration efforts across Guidewire PolicyCenter, and where applicable BillingCenter/ClaimCenter.

Conduct gap analysis, impact analysis, and identify system/process improvements.

Collaborate with QA teams to define test scenarios, validate test results, and ensure requirements coverage.

Facilitate workshops, JAD sessions, UAT, and requirement walkthroughs.

Assist in migration activities, rating changes, forms updates, and underwriting workflow enhancements.

Ensure alignment with industry standards, state regulatory requirements, and business objectives.

Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in P&C insurance.

Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire (PolicyCenter preferred).

Strong Knowledge Of Commercial Lines
Workers' Compensation

General Liability

Commercial Auto

Property, BOP, Umbrella (preferred)

Experience Writing User Stories, Requirements Documentation, And Functional Specifications.
Knowledge of Guidewire rating, product models, job configurations, and workflows.

Understanding of underwriting, policy lifecycle, and regulatory compliance.

Experience with SQL, data mapping, and integration workflows (nice to have).

Strong communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Guidewire BA Certification (Plus)

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience Working With Multi-state Workers' Compensation Programs.
Prior involvement in Guidewire implementation or upgrade projects.
